I love the silhouette of this skirt. Pretty woman popped into my head when I slipped this beauty on. It's amazing!! The skirt has a vintage vibe and flow that I am loving. I am a sucker for high waisted skirts! The bow sweetens the deal and it's velvet. I LOVE!! This is another awesome piece from Melissa Velia. Wow!! If you have not check out her store please do. She has so many wonderful one of kind pieces that are absolutely breath-taking. I have my eye on this cute turban that I am swooning over.

Happy Sunday Pretty Girls,

I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was spent at my Alma mater, and it was awesome to be back. I cannot believe I have been out of college for seven years. EEK!!  Oh the good ole days were  the best!

I remember seeing these booties on Kimberly from Mascara Melodies, and immediately wanting them. I love her style! It's so effortless.  I scrolled down to see that she scored these beauties at Target. Win. Win!!! I love Target! I hurriedly went to  Target to scoop these babies up. I couldn't wait on shipping. Sigh. I am working on my patience :). Oh the possibilities these booties will see. I love getting outfit inspiration from my fellow bloggers. You all have such amazing style that I love!!.

I have reopened my Etsy shop. I am selling inspired art print. It's the perfect gift for birthdays, glam up a room, or just a chic happy for yourself.  I would love for you to check it out and tell me your thoughts.

I hope you all have a great start to great week ahead.

Show the World Your style is All Yours...

Life is meant to be lived to its fullest, and that commences with being happy with who you are. There is absolutely no shame for either a guy or a woman to show the world that confidence has been achieved and style has become honed. Sometimes I get a bit jealous of girls. They have a seemingly endless latitude on style choices from shoes to dresses to makeup and also hair! For all of us men, it sometimes looks like our only options are a suit or jeans plus a t-shirt. No matter who you are, where you’re from or what your demeanor, there’s fashion choices for people which allow us to be chic and proud. You don’t have to be a film star or perhaps a super model to flaunt what you have, and you don’t have to have your very own multi national company to become classy or admired.

Being chic and chic begins with being yourself and getting a clear comprehension of what is appropriate and not. Obviously, if you want to have your own style, there are some things you shouldn’t do. The majority of those things are against the law, so there must be no confusion there. You should begin with knowing what’s hip today if you want to have your own unique style. That’s easy enough for pretty much anyone. All you have to do is open a magazine, look up with a billboard, or pay attention to the commercials during your favorite television show. Fashion recommendations come to us constantly, a huge selection of times per day, without us even searching. We’re bombarded so often even, that many of us don’t even pay attention. However, if fashion is something you are interested in, it never hurts to maintain your eyes open and make a note of what you want or what you’d love to avoid. For me, I really like to keep things as classy as possible, therefore I look for nice suits and casual wear that borders on formal.

After you have a clear feel for the kind of style you have and exactly how you’d want it to evolve, every day really becomes a fashion show on your part, for you. To go along with the classy themes that I like to embody, I like to accessorize. A Rolex may be the quintessential accessory for any man or woman who wants to show, not tell, that he or she is the embodiment of class and ambition, despite the fact that now it’s not cheap. The Rolex, as you are all aware, is much more than simply a watch or perhaps a gorgeous bit of jewelry, it’s something that transcends all of that. It’s a statement of drive and passion and a perfect, glimmering cherry on top of anybody who professes as a perfectionist. Falling into Fall + Link Up

I hope you all had an awesome weekend. Finally Fall is here and I am able to pull out my fur. I've had this fur vest in my closet for at least two years. It's time to upgrade for sure. I went online looking for a new one. I've been stress shopping to say the least. Forever 21 has some beautiful ones but they are all sold out. But that's no new news.  I wanted a pop of color to help transition me into Fall. I hope you have an awesome start to a brilliant week ahead.

Easy as 1-2-3

Easy as 1-2-3fj.jpg

New: One backpack, two pairs of jeans and three tops.

With back-to-school season fast approaching, I thought I’d put together a super quick post of affordable essentials to cover your wardrobe. Somehow, they’re all blue, so let’s hope that’s your favorite color too!

1. Kanken Backpack by Fjallraven
Backpacks are fashionable again, and I’ve seen these bags everywhere! This one is the big model, that’ll fit your laptop and books.

2. Alice Jeans from Mango and Tommy Hilfiger Sophie Jeans from House of Fraser
If you’re lucky enough to be able to wear jeans at school (or are already done with that dress code nonsense), here are a couple of affordable pairs of skinnies that look great while keeping your wallet happy.

3. Tiana Tee from BooHoo, Sleeveless Tee from Mango, and Simple Cardigan from Vila
The Tiana is from BooHoo’s plus size collection, but it’s basic enough to get away with it – I’m sure every store does a version of this. For the chillier days in September, I’ve got you covered with this cardigan.

I hope you'll had a great weekend. My weekend was simply awesome. I am having a Kourtney Kardashian moment today. I love anything with a bow, add lace to it, and I am head over heels. This beautiful hue represents  Fall to the core. I love the delicateness of the lace..it gives it the right feminine touch.  The leather skirt adds an awesome edginess.

I have some exciting news to share. I am the Fall Brand Ambassador for Melissa Velia!! If you have not heard of her then you are missing out. This gorgeous blouse is part of the Fall collection. Melissa Velia designs one of a kind pieces that leave you wanting more. Her collection is vintage-inspired with a  fresh pop of California coolness.

I sincerely love every one of her pieces. For the next couple of months I will be showcasing the Fall collection. Every season she picks a new face to represent her brand. If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Brand Ambassador click here, and please check out my interview.

Right now she is offering 20% off to my readers. Use the code IWSRT20  to save.

I hope you all have a great start to a beautiful, and brilliant week ahead.
